Very good length but too small around the waist, the size larger is too long, so this life jacket unfortunately did not fit my dog's shape.

The measurements above are those of the life jacket. The length is measured from the neck to the root of the tail. Always choose a life jacket that is slightly shorter than the dog as the jacket should not extend beyond the tail.
The chest measurement is the most important. Keep in mind that it does not matter if the vest is slightly short. A life jacket must never be too long so that it interferes with the movement of the tail. The tail is incredibly important for dogs when they swim, so a shorter life jacket is better than one that is too long.
