Works very well, you just press loosely and the old fur comes off very easily. You have to be careful not to brush too hard.

I have a cat that has mostly short fur but with some longer hairs, when I brush in the past you can't really get to it deep down but this one really got the loose undercoat hairs. Very pleased?
