Bought for Norwegian Forest Cat and the machine works great. Quiet. Turned the cat slowly at the sound and then the vibrations (without the cutting head). However, had to cut away a lot of fur first. But it is probably not due to the machine but due to

Haven't tried more than a quick turn on the dog but seems to work well, nice and has good sizes of accessories, you can choose many different lengths.

Unfortunately too wide in the cut for the paws of my Cavallier King Charles Spaniel. It was repurchased.
